Kids Home Foundation is a non-profit, non-political and non-religious, organization that supports about 1000 migrant children in need and their families in the construction sites and slums of Chiang Mai Province (Northern Thailand). Through specifically tailored educational programs and flexible individual support, Kids Home protects endangered children, allows families to becoming self-sustainable and gives opportunities for a better future.
The Foundation is officially recognized by Thai Law and is supported by three independent entities: Kids Home France, Kids Home Italia and Kids Home America. All are recognized as a charitable association in their countries and have the vocation to raise fund and spread information about the work of Kids Home Foundation in Thailand.

Responsibilities of the advertised position:
Kids Home is currently looking for a Finance and Partnership Officer. The objective of the mission is to inquire and develop financial opportunities via fund-raising activities as well as help publish, promote, distribute and sell a children’s book in order to raise funds and ensure the development of field activities with children.
More specifically, it includes the following:
1- Support to fundraising: actively inquire on potential new funders and develop new funding partnerships in Thailand (via CSRs, embassies, etc.) and international (via answer to call for proposals, grants, etc.). Provide communication materials (reports, etc.) to existing funders.
2- Support to Social Business: Develop the social business project, its implementation and communication tools to support KH fundraising initiative
3- Financial and management planning, in order to reach further self-sustainability.
4- Participation to local projects developed by Kids Home Foundation: Support the team with field activities dedicated to the development of children’s self-expression and creativeness. Create and coordinate English activities on field.
5- Complementary work:Work closely with the management team as well as Kids Home international coordinator to support the development of requested communication, accounting, etc…
Required skills:
- Qualification: project management; business/marketing/publishing studies;
- A previous professional experience in fund-raising/social business/marketing /communication is recommended. Skills in design / experience with children will be considered as assets.
- Personal characteristics: Strong social commitment, excellent analytic, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to work and live in a multi-cultural environment. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, flexible and interested in fundraising.
- Languages: proficiency in written and oral English. French/Italian/Thai considered as an asset.
- Other skills: Ability to drive a motorbike
- Duration of contract: minimum 6 months (Start beg October at the earliest).
- Position status: Six months contract, Internship/Volunteering - open to any nationality
- Compensation: No financial compensation / Open to self-financing initiatives
