EngenderHealth is seeking expressions of interest from highly qualified candidates for the following full-time staff position for an anticipated five-year USAID project named, Expanding and Strengthening Family Planning Service Options in Uganda. The following project staff will be based in Kampala providing technical assistance to the Government of Uganda (GOU), civil societies, community-based organizations and the private sector at the community, facility, district, and national levels. The goal of the project is to increase use of equitable, quality and sustainable family planning (FP) services through increased FP service delivery options and demand for modern contraception including long-acting reversible contraception (LARCs) and permanent methods (PMs). Cross cutting themes include gender programing and youth sexual reproductive health (SRH) services. Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

The COP will be responsible for leading and managing the overall project. S/he will facilitate the development and implementation of project strategy and plans including ME&L. S/he will ensure excellent coordination and collaboration with USAID, public and private sector partners and stakeholders at the community, facility, district, and national levels. S/he must have a Master’s degree in public health or related field, with ten years of experience working in sexual and reproductive health (SRH) programming. S/he will have experience working as a senior management for donor-funded health projects, preferable USAID. Experience collaborating central and local government officials, development partners, civil society and community-based organizations. Excellent past performance references are required (references must be provided, including email addresses).
