Proposal Summary:
The five-year USAID Learning Contract will help USAID/Uganda strengthen its performance and, to a lesser extent the performance of its implementing partners, in collaborating, learning and performing in order to fortify the impact and sustainability of USAID-supported contributions to Uganda's development.

Position Summary:
MSI is seeking two (2) editors to support copy editing on a variety of reports, desk reviews, and evaluations for the Uganda Learning Contract. Topics covered range across sectors, including democracy and governance, education, economic development and monitoring and evaluation.
Responsibilities:
- Copy edit documents, including evaluation reports, desk reviews, past performance reports, and annual reports, publications, etc. on a variety of international development topics.
- Format report and ensure consistency with USAID branded reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in social science or other relevant field.
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience writing and/or editing technical reports for USAID programs.
- Knowledge of the Associated Press (AP) writing style guide.
- Experience working with organizations in humanitarian/developing contexts, USAID experience preferred.
- Excellent story-telling, writing and editing skills.
- Basic knowledge of M&E processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
- Fluency in English.
