The post of Programme Assistant for Partnerships and Resource Mobilization is located in UNFPA Thailand Country Office in Bangkok. Under the guidance and direct supervision of the National Programme Officer for Partnerships and Resource Mobilization, the Programme Assistant for Partnerships and Resource Mobilization provides support functions to ensure effective implementation for the Tenth Programme Cycle.
Job Purpose
The incumbent is expected to provide support in managing fundraising campaigns and activities covering the areas of corporate partnerships, individual fundraising and donation box management. S/He will deliver quality services to the Country Programme, mastering all relevant rules, guidelines, process and procedures.
Major Activities/ Expected Results
Under the supervision of the National Professional Officer for Partnerships and Resource Mobilization, the incumbent will:
- Provide support in managing fundraising campaigns and activities;
- Coordinate and manage micro projects;
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating the performance;
- Act as first contact point for any contractors, suppliers and relevant personnel;
- Provide administrative and secretarial support for the unit;
- Undertake other official tasks as required.
Duration: Six months
Place where services are to be delivered: UNFPA Thailand Country Office
Work Relations
· Internal partners include all staff members in the Country Office.
· External partners include private sector and key stakeholders.
Monitoring and progress control, including reporting requirements, periodicity format and deadline:
· Mid-term review
· Final Evaluation
Expected travel: Bangkok Metropolitan area and upcountry as required
Education
Completed Secondary Level Education required. First degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Communications is an asset.
Knowledge and Experience
· 5 years of experience in support functions of sales/ marketing/ communication and/or fundraising areas
· Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
· Planning, organizing and multi-tasking
· Good writing and communication skills
· Computer literacy – Word, Excel, Power-point, etc.
