Opportunity

Uganda Health Systems Strengthening Activity is meant to “strengthen Uganda’s health system through technical assistance that will improve leadership and accountability for results in public and private health sectors at national, subnational and community levels; implement innovative interventions that increase efficient use, governance, and management of key health system resources including human resources for health, finance, equipment/infrastructure; and strengthen state and non-state community health systems that are critical for improved and quality health services.”

The proposed candidate will be in charge of the finance and administration components of the activity.

The proposed director of finance and administration must meet the following criteria:

  • Master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or other relevant field or Bachelor’s degree plus CPA or other internationally recognized accounting designation

  • A minimum of ten years’ experience in administrative and financial management of complex, international development programs of a similar scope and dollar value

  • In depth experience with USG financial reporting and compliance requirements

  • Demonstrated supervisory experience of professional staff
