Thailand: Information Technology Expert (national or international)

Expertise France is seeking health experts in connection with Channel 1 of the 5% Initiative for AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria.

This expertise mission aims to support the development of a feasibility assessment on a migrant private health insurance in Thailand.

The IT expert will assist the project team to assess the relevant technology environment, to define:

• The biometric confidential system of identification of subscribers that would be used.

• The method of premium payment collection that would be utilized. The project management team is already exploring the possible relevance of working with mobile phone operators to establish such mechanism. However, IT expert involvement will be critically important to assess the suitability of this, or other, approaches.

• The methods/supports of data collection, transmission and analysis that would be utilized, with regards to enrolment/coverage, and health services utilization
