UNICEF Thailand is seeking an individual consultant to do translation from English to Thai and Thai to English.
Work Assignment:
In support of the Communication section planned activities, the consultant will undertake the following work assignments:
- Provide translation from English to Thai or Thai to English languages.
Staff of each section that required translation service will brief the consultant for each assignment.
Estimated Duration of Contract: 1 January 2016 - 31 December 2016 (with possibility of extension)
The consultant will work for approximately no more than 10 days per month. Payment will be made at the end of the month based on the number of actual working days and submission of satisfactory deliverables.
Qualifications or Specialized Knowledge/Experience Required:
- Bachelor degree in language/translation with at least 8 years of proven record and experience in solid translating work.
- Excellent in Thai and English languages
- Ability to provide translation service despite short notice
- Familiar with children’s issues will be a plus
